Some people believe in love at first sight. But for me, I do not believe this. I believe that you have to have a good relationship with a guy before we would date. Take my current boyfriend and I for an example. When I first met William we clashed right from the start. To me he was arrogant, pigheaded, narcissistic, full of himself, and he wouldn't shut up. Some how in that same day that we met we made a truce and swapped numbers. Two days later he called me and we were actually being nice to one another. We got to know one another very well, a week later he asked me out. I know that being friends for a week doesn't make a good boyfriend material but, the least hours we talk on the phone is about 2 hours. During that time we asked each other so many questions that we got to know each other. Because of these interrogations we had for about 6 or 7 days we really got to know one another. Some how during this process I began started to like him. So with in a week or two it started to become “I really hate you” to “dude I really like you more than a friend”. If I went on my first impression of William I wouldn’t be in this wonderful relationship we would probably be still throwing ego wounding comments to one another. Even though he still has his arrogance with him, I’ve learned in my past relationships that we all have our quirks and there isn’t much to change people. I believe that this relationship is working because of our full honesty to one another and opposites attract.

My view of 'Get Out Alive'
Get Out Alive by: Three Days grace to means how a girl or a boy breaks up with their signifficant other and how the other person can survive a broken heart. A couple of years ago I went through a long and painful break up. The guy that broke up with me was the guy that I had my first crush on and he was the guy that I had my first kiss. I spiraled down to a sad depression and listened music that helped me though those tough months. All of my friends told me latter on that they could see a difference before and after he broke up with me. It took me about 5 months to pick up the shattered pieces of my heart to be my simi normal self. But to this day, almost two years later, I'm still picking up the shards of my heart. That is what this song says to me, its about how to survive a break up.
Millionares under the age of 25 years of age
Michael Dell at the age of 19 dropped out of the University of Texas, but later on at the age of 24 started his own computer company called 'Dell' by the time he was 24 in Dell had revenues of $258 million. At last check, Dell's estimated net worth was $13.5 billion.
That is a lot of money for a kid that dropped out of a university. It is amazing that under the age of 24 he was a millionaire but it took many people like Rockefeller to become millionares when they are a lot older. I think some of this has to be luck also because if you have a product that many people would use, you can make a lot of money fast.
Mark Zuckerberg is the creater of Facebook, in 2007 he launched this social network. It is a new way to socialize with old friends that you haven't seen in years. At the age of 24 he became a millionare.
Facebook boomed it seemed like overnight. I admit that I am addicted to facebook because it allows me to keep contact with family outside Texas and I can keep up with my friend at school and over at Oak Ridge. It has allowed me to know whats been happening in their lives so then if I had to I can call them so then I can be there for them. It also is a great way to tell your friends with out getting on my phone and tell them what has happened to me during my school days or on the weekends.
China the New English Speaking Country
In 10 years it is predicted that the number one English speaking country in the world will be China.
That to me is insane, its not only they're kicking our butts when it comes to manufacturing products for American Consumers. Now in ten short years they're going to be the number one English speaking country. China is older than America by far but for generations they've only spoken Chinese maybe a couple of interpreters. But the average person wouldn't speak English. The US was founded by English Speaking men, and since the beginning of the US that is our official language.

Song Lyrics
Get Out Alive
By: Three Days Grace
One-X
2006
No time for goodbye he said
As he faded away
Don't put your life in someone's hands
They're bound to steal it away
Don't hide your mistakes
'Cause they'll find you, burn you
Then he said
If you want to get out alive
Hold on run for your life
If you want to get out alive
Hold on run for your life
This is my last time she said
As she faded away
It's hard to imagine
But one day you'll end up like me
Then she said
If you want to get out alive
Hold on run for your life
If you want to get out alive
Run for your life
If you want to get out alive (If you want to get out alive)
Hold on run for your life (Life)
If you want to get out alive (If you want to get out alive)
Hold on run for your life
If I stay it won't be long
Till I'm burning on the inside
If I go I can only hope
That I make it to the other side
If you want to get out alive
Hold on for...
If you want to get out alive
Hold on for
If you want to get out alive (If you want to get out alive)
Hold on run for your life
If you want to get out alive (If you want to get out alive)
Hold on for...
If I stay, it won't be long
Till I'm burning on the inside
If I go I can only hope
That I make it to the other side
If I stay, it won't be long
Till I'm burning on the inside
If I go, if I go
Burning on the inside
Burning on the inside
Burning on the inside

Get Out Alive is a song about both how a guy or a girl breaks up with the other. In the first part of the lyrics its about how a guy breaks up with his girlfriend. Its about how to survive a break up, in there the lyrics states “Don't put your life in someone's hands/They're bound to steal it away” meaning don't put all of your hopes and trust into someone else's hands because one day they will let you down. The chorus states “If you want to get out alive” meaning not face the depression people at times face after a happy and long relationship and you bonded with the other person, “Hold on for your life” meaning you have to gather up your stregnth and face every day with each new problems the day holds. In the second part of the lyrics, it is from the stand point of a guy of his girlfriend breaking up with him. In the middle of the song it states, “If I stay it won't be long/Till I'm burning on the inside/If I go I can only hope/That I make it to the other side/If you want to get out alive/Hold on for.../If you want to get out alive/
Hold on for” To me this means that even though a person loves the other person in the relationship they're in but it hurts them to much to be in a relationship. And the only way to restore the peace that is in that person is to go.

Remarks on: Battle Hymn Of The Tiger Mother
1) I would hate to be Amy Chua's daughter.Chua doesn't allow "tv, complaining about not being in a school play, being in a school play, sleepovers, playdates, etc".
When I have a stressful day/week I love just curling up in front of the TV and watch either a movie or a TV show that would take my day's stress. When I have a bad day or stressful day and I come home I don’t want any one talking to me or coming near me. I usually go on the computer to youtube or be in front of my TV and start to watch old cartoons like Tom and Jerry or Bugs Bunny. The old cartoons are witty fun and of course trying to blow the other character’s mind to pieces. Now and days cartoons are just stupid its either something stupid and mindless an actor says or does or they are remaking the old cartoons and the plot is ‘lets not kill each other. Lets be friends”. The cartoons that I watch are the old cartoons like Tom and Jerry, Bugs Bunny, Loony Toons, Foghorn Leghorn, Hong Kong Fooey, and many other old cartoons. Many reasons is because each and every episode is different from the last one. Also they don’t try to feed from one cartoon show to the other. Bugs Bunny didn’t feed off of Tom and Jerry, for starters Bugs Bunny talks and Tom and Jerry occasionally talks. Because of the violence of the old cartoons it usually lightens my mood a whole lot. For that is the reason why I love watching the old cartoons instead of the new stupider versions of “good TV”.
2)Amy Chua believes that most western mothers raising children says that "stressing academic success is not good for children" are wrong by how the Chineese raise their kids.
First off and for most stress can be bad for you! Especially if it is about finals for your high school or college courses. Because I know for a fact that every teacher in Hauke is different. Like Mr. Bennett’s first period class we had to do 2 animotos, 2 pictures and captions, 2 wordles, 2 questions from Bennett and 200 each answer you give him, and 2 questions you have and you have to answer the questions with 200 responses for a book that you picked that was on a list of books for you to read over winter break. Then afterwards you have to give him an oral report on the book. But for Mrs. Blevins she gave us a sheet of names, dates, and facts and we had to remember them some of the questions on her final were from what we learned from the very beginning of the school year. If you didn’t study for the test you hope that you have a good grade in her class because you would fail the final. Mr. Zulhke gave us a pratice test of the final that had the multiple choice questions. For about two or three class periods we looked up the questions and then the last day of this he went over the answers and then it was up to us to study. Many of my finals were easy peasy and I didn’t have to worry about them. The only two finals that I really worried about was Bennett’s first period and Mr. Lemley’s fourth period Geometry class. I knew if I flunked either of the finals I would of failed the courses for the semester. In geometry I’m not very good in it, I kinda can grasp the jist of it but in the class I was almost making a B in there. Even though I passed all of my courses I developed a bump behind my ear because of stress and also because of stress I broke out in my face. I kept it under control and hid it with make up but I knew it was there.
